More About Me

With years of experience as a Registered Nurse in psychiatric emergency care, I have worked with individuals during their most difficult and vulnerable moments. From managing mental health crises to providing life-saving interventions, I have seen firsthand the profound impact of trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, PTSD, and untreated mental health conditions—not just on individuals but on their loved ones as well. I have seen it all—the intense struggles of those in crisis and the quiet, unwavering strength it takes to rebuild. Healing isn’t just about surviving; it’s about reclaiming your sense of self, managing mental health conditions, overcoming trauma, and finding stability and peace. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how critical compassionate, non-judgmental care is in fostering real healing.

This understanding is what led me to pursue a Master’s in Counselling Psychology and become a Registered Psychotherapist. I wanted to expand my ability to help—not just in moments of crisis, but in ongoing, holistic ways that promote lasting healing and resilience.

No matter what you’re going through, you don’t have to face it alone. I am here to provide the support, understanding, and guidance you need to navigate life’s challenges.

In my practice, I draw from a wide array of therapeutic approaches, including;
-> Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-> Attachment Based Therapy
-> Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
-> Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

These therapeutic approaches allow us to address the complexities of your mental and emotional well-being. I recognize that every individual is unique, which is why I tailor my approach to meet you where you are, creating a safe, collaborative space for healing.
